Our Story

FinTurk was founded by Mitchell Bratina, CFA, a former financial advisor who managed hundreds of client relationships and over a billion dollars in assets at a large RIA. He spent years inside the same legacy systems most advisors know too well: toggling between tabs to prep for a client meeting, manually logging calls that should take seconds, pulling data from three different places just to answer a simple question about a client's portfolio. The tools were supposed to help. Most of the time, they just created more work.

Mitchell holds a background in computer science and software engineering, and he started building internal tools to automate the busywork for himself and his colleagues. When he saw how much time those tools gave back (not just hours, but mental energy), he realized this wasn't just a personal fix. It was a gap in the market. In 2023, he launched FinTurk to bring those solutions to other advisory firms.

From the start, FinTurk was built differently. While other CRM providers are retrofitting AI onto decades-old systems, FinTurk was designed AI-native from day one. That means intelligence is embedded directly into the workflows advisors rely on, not bolted on as an afterthought. Before a client meeting, FinTurk's AI surfaces what's changed in the portfolio, flags outstanding tasks, and drafts a personalized agenda. After a call, it extracts action items and logs them automatically. The AI doesn't sit in a sidebar waiting to be asked; it works alongside the advisor throughout the day.

What also sets FinTurk apart is how the platform adapts to each firm. Most advisor CRMs offer similar features (client management, workflows, task tracking, meeting prep), but force every firm to use them the same way. FinTurk takes a different approach. The platform is deeply configurable so that it reflects how your firm actually operates and delivers value to its clients. Instead of changing the way you work to fit the software, the software fits the way you work.

Within our first year, FinTurk was adopted by a Top 100 RIA managing over $8 billion in assets. Earning the trust of a firm at that scale early on validated the approach and continues to shape how we build: driven by feedback from advisors managing real client relationships every day.

That's the platform we're building: a single, intelligent system that replaces the patchwork of disconnected tools advisors have been settling for. And for the firms already on the platform, the difference is measured in hours given back every week.

2023

The Problem

After years of frustration with legacy CRMs that were built for generic sales teams, not financial advisors, we saw an opportunity to build something better.

2024

Building the Foundation

We began developing FinTurk from the ground up, focusing on the unique workflows and compliance needs of wealth management firms.

2025

FinTurk CashSweep Released

We brought our first product to market: a cash management tool that automates raising and sweeping cash across client accounts, saving advisory firms hours during billing cycles and reducing cash drag.

2026

FinTurk CRM Launch

In Q1 2026, we launched FinTurk CRM, an AI-first CRM purpose-built for financial advisors. With native AI powered by Anthropic, deep integrations, and a clean interface designed around how advisors actually work, we brought the full platform to market.
